How we work with your firm
The same four steps for one fund or a whole client list. You keep the client and the sign-off; we do the preparation.
The four steps
Tell us about your firm
How many funds or clients you have, the software you use, and when you need the work back. A short call or a few lines on the form is enough.
Agree a fixed fee
We quote a fixed fee; for SMSF work, one fee per fund, whatever its size. Once you agree, we send an engagement letter that sets out the work, the fee and who does what.
Send the records securely
You upload the records through our client portal at gahak.dhan.com. Please don't send clients' records by plain email.
Review, sign and invoice
Finished work comes back through the portal: final reports, the draft return and referenced workpapers. You review it, ask us anything, sign and invoice your client.
While we work
Questions come to you, never to your client
If records are missing or something needs explaining, we ask you. We don't contact your clients.
Timing
Turnaround
Most funds are finished within a week of us receiving complete records. Missing records are the usual cause of delay.
Lodging returns
- Under your tax agent number, if you don't have lodgement software.
- Under our tax agent number, 24702003 (check the TPB register), if you are not a registered tax agent.
Questions
Questions firms ask us
Who does the work?
Our team of accountants, led by our directors.
What does it cost?
A fixed, all-inclusive fee, agreed before we start; for SMSF work, one fee per fund, whatever the fund's size. We quote once we know your volume and software.
Can you lodge returns?
Yes: under your tax agent number if you don't have lodgement software, or under ours if you are not a registered tax agent.
How do you keep our clients' records safe?
We ask you to send records through our client portal, not plain email, and we keep them confidential. Our security and privacy page explains more.
Tell us your volume. We'll quote a fixed fee.
A few lines about your firm are enough. We reply within one working day.
